Don Prudhomme’s 2007 Skoal Chevy Impala SS Funny Car

Don Prudhomme talks about the LAST funny car he owned and competed in NHRA drag racing. The 2007 Skoal Chevy Impala SS was driven by Tommy Johnson Jr. and marked the first year the Impala body style was used in NHRA funny car competition. “TJ” was the No. 1 qualifier at Englishtown, NJ and went on to win the race as well. Snake Racing top fuel driver Larry Dixon won that same weekend, marking the 4th time in history that Snake celebrated a “double-up” NHRA national event victory.
